  1. Three weeks into our relationship when you asked me to make you a Beatles playlist of the “non-number one songs and b-sides.” (Honorable mention to five years later when you asked “‘Fixing a Hole’ is on Sgt. Pepper, right?”)

  2. The first time we built a pillow + blanket fort and ordered pizza and watched Maria Bamford and listened to Fiona Apple on vinyl and you asked me to be your girlfriend. (I said yes.)

  3. That time at Alcove when you asked me if I could do anything without worrying about money and/or failing, what would I do? And I said “make movies” and you said “then why don’t you do that?” And then my life changed forever.

  4. Memorial Day weekend 2021 when you said, “Wanna watch Star Wars?” and I hadn’t seen it since I was a kid and we made Star Wars LEGOs while we watched and I cried, and I got embarrassed, but I happened find Luke’s commitment to friendship to be incredibly moving. Also, A New Hope? Uh, great film.

  5. In September of 2021 when we got that look of mischief in our eyes whilst listening/laughing to Jimmy Buffett and might have said, at the same time, “Should we stay at Margaritaville Hotel and Resort in Times Square for Valentine’s Day?” (We both said yes.)

  6. Every time you ask what you should be for Halloween, but it’s like April. I respect the foresight and preparedness; the reverence with which you show the holiday.

  7. On our anniversary trip to Upstate NY circa 2023 when you said “Mmm, do you just wanna work?” and then we stayed in the hotel and worked on our scripts.

  8. Your birthday last year when I said we were going to go ghost hunting on Staten Island, and you said “oh, it’s haunted?” and then I got to tell you a lot of facts about Staten Island.
